A few months ago City Skylines released a new terms-of-service that made basicly said 'we reserve the right to snoop in all your ♥♥♥♥' and bricked my existing install unless I updated to the version and accepted the new terms and conditions. The same cannot really be said for a steam game for that matter. And least you can choose your bank and choose your payment provider and not have to miss out on any experiences. Also you needed to agree to them before you play again.
